Nike 6.0 'Pop-Up' Store
We worked closely with the Nike 6.0 marketing team and a network of fabricators to produce a ‘Pop-Up’ store concept aimed to raise awareness of the Nike 6.0 surf brand – specifically the boardshorts range. Designing alongside the Nike 6.0 seasonal directive the design encapsulates brand elements creating an experience for the consumer in keeping with online retail and existing campaigns. The store, for summer 2011, situated in the centre of Newquay, occupied a previously disused retail unit, with the entire fabrication taking place over three weeks.
At its heart, the shop offers customers the opportunity to customise their own boardshorts, but also experience interactives including a facebook linked photo booth, live surf web cams and a surf wax inspired game. Ensuring an environmentally conscience build within Cornwall, the space utilises reclaimed floor boards among other materials.

Reclaimed timber was used on the shop counter to ensure the shop build was sustainable

Instore software enables vistors to produce custom designs using a series of templates, which are then sent to the printer and press, and transferred onto shorts.

Nike commission Boex for both planning, architectural and interior design guidance to bring the initial design concepts to a reality.

A feature wall consisting of artefacts and quotes aims to raise the profile of key team riders and also excite the next generation of young surfers.

The ‘Say Fromage‘ photobooth lets you capture your holiday memories, and upload them straight to facebook, to be the envy of your friends. The ever growing wall behind the booth is collecting a legacy of visitors.
