The picturesque harbour of Mevagissey offers the perfect backdrop for the new light, paired back design at She Sells. The design has sought to subdivide the shop into cafe and retail space whilst maintain an open and clean aesthetic.
A well edited palette of reclaimed rough timbers, hardboard and subtle nods to coastal hues provide a neutral backdrop to draw attention to all that is on display. Feature lighting continues to reference the nautical heritage of Mevagissey. Flexible seating, storage and shelving systems have been utilised ensuring She Sells can continue to grow with time. A slat partition wall appears to peel off the timber clad wall creating a small divide between cafe and retail areas whilst maintaining an airiness to the overall space. New sliding doors maximise the views out onto the harbour front and opens the space enticing passersby.
